Assessment (wind viability)

While our wind turbines operate in very low wind speeds, it is crucial that we assess the viability of your proposed location for a wind turbine to ensure you achieve optimum value and to enable you to assess the return on investment before you commit.

MMCESL’s team is trained to assess your general and specific location for wind viability, to advise you on the ideal position of a turbine on your property, and the typical output you might realistically expect from it.

Surveys

MMCESL has staff who are trained to undertake a site/location specific assessment, taking into account topography and other local features, as well as actual wind speed which is measured over a set period (typically one month). From the findings, we are able to assess the viability of installing a wind turbine and connecting to the system, which provides our clients with an understanding of the potential returns from their turbine, and enables effective project planning from the outset.

Connections

Turbine owners can sell their surplus energy back to the Grid, providing an assured source of income. MMCESL has the expertise and qualifications to connect small scale wind turbines to the Grid with a meter to take advantage of this arrangement.

Registration for FITs

Our MCS-accredited wind turbines entitle owners to claim the Government’s new Feed-in Tariff programme – which is essentially payment for all the renewable energy you generate. MMCESL’s experienced team can explain this valuable income generating opportunity to you and help you register to take advantage of it.
